Micro Humidity Logging Thermometer
SMALL, RUGGED LOGGER CAPTURES TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY DATA AT USER-SELECTED INTERVALS FROM 2 SECONDS UP TO 24 HOURS
The Micro Humidity temperature and humidity measurement system is suitable for a wide range of applications that involve transit and storage of temperature and humidity sensitive products such as incubators, green houses, military, paper processing, libraries and isolated electrical equipment.
The Micro Humidity logger is designed to measure temperatures from -20° to +80°C (-4° to +176°F) and humidity levels from 5% to 95% RH (non-condensing) and record at user-definable intervals from 2 seconds to 12 hours. Humidity measurement is accurate to ±3% RH at 25°C. Temperature measurement is accurate to ±0.5°C from 0° to +50°C, and to ±1°C above 60°C. Temperature readings can be configured in °C, °F, °K or Rankine.
The portable logger is just 0.6" x 1.4" x 2.15", weighs 1 oz., and includes a low-power microprocessor with a non-volatile memory that operates on a 3.6 volt, replaceable battery.
The Micro Humidity Logger interfaces with the convenient MLSP Support Package allowing users to set-up and custom-configure the logger, print or display recorded information in graph or table form, then save to disk or export to a spreadsheet program. Data can be downloaded without interrupting the recording function.
The software features "real time display" which allows the user's computer to emulate a strip chart recorder for the purpose of providing an immediate indication and record of temperature (and humidity) events. This feature is useable in conjunction with or independent of the actual logging function. In addition, the software can alternately provide graphical display and a tabular record of relative humidity, dew point temperature or water vapor concentration when used with the Micro-Humidity Logger.
Telatemp provides calibration services to NIST traceable standards for all the Micro-products. For those customers who have access to suitable standards, the software can be enabled to allow on-site calibration.
Micro Series Support Package
To get started, the user connects the Interface Cable to the logger and to the PC's serial port, inputs the device ID description and starts the data collection through the easy-to-use software. The software is compatible with Windows 95® or newer and configures itself appropriately.
Also provided is statistical analysis for the whole data set or any "zoomed" subset of the data. Some of the statistics provided are minimum, maximum, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and mean kinetic temperature.
