THERMOCOUPLE DATA LOGGER TRACKS TEMPERATURE INPUT FROM TYPES J, K, T, E, R, S, B OR N THERMOCOUPLES

Micro T/C Temperature Logger provides a versatile option for a broad range of temperature recording applications from cryogenics to glass with the capability to store 16,383 temperature readings per channel using a wide variety of thermocouples. The Logger's compact size and large storage capacity make it ideal to record temperature data during processing or in locations with difficult access.

The Micro T/C accepts thermocouple probe types J, K, T, E, R, S, B or N to record time and date stamped temperature readings from -454°F to 2372°F (-270°C to 1300°C) and readings in the range of -40°F to 176°F (-40°C to 80°C) with its internal sensor.

The Micro T/C automatically performs cold-junction compensation and linearization and provides the logged temperature data from its internal sensor as a second temperature channel. The lithium battery-powered temperature logger records the time and date stamped temperature readings in °C, °F, °K or °R, at user-definable recording intervals from two seconds to 12 hours.

Before recording, the software included in the low-cost MLSP Support Package (see details below) is used to identify the thermocouple type, select a reading rate and assign a User ID to each recording session.

The 8540-00 is a three foot long Teflon/Plastisol insulated Type K thermocouple with mini-connector. It is suitable for benign environments to measure temperatures as cold as dry ice up to 180°F. Other thermocouples with mini-connectors are available.

Micro Series Support Package

DATA ANALYSIS SOFTWARE FOR MICRO SERIES LOGGERS

The Telatemp MLSP Support Package includes everything you need to set up, start and download data from any number of data loggers in the Micro Series using a PC.

To get started, the user connects the Interface Cable to the logger and to the PC's serial port, inputs the device ID description and starts the data collection through the easy-to-use software. The software is compatible with Windows 95® or newer and configures itself appropriately.

After data collection, the logger connects via the Interface Cable to the PC to list and/or graph the data or, export the data as a text file or as a .CSV file for import into Microsoft Excel® and similar programs. Special features include "real time display" which allows the user's computer to emulate a strip chart recorder by connecting the logger to the PC and monitoring and recording simultaneously.

Also provided is statistical analysis for the whole data set or any "zoomed" subset of the data. Some of the statistics provided are minimum, maximum, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and mean kinetic temperature.
