The self-contained Telatemp Transit Thermometers are factory calibrated to certified NIST traceable accuracy of ±2°F or ±1.1°C full range.
 
Each low cost, disposable Transit Thermometer is designed to record temperature conditions of a single trip. The device continuously records on a strip chart with selected chart run times of 10, 40, 75 or 90 days.

TAMPERPROOF. Once started by the shipper, Telatemp Transit Thermometers are tamperproof and cannot be stopped or restarted.

STATE-OF-THE-ART. Using state-of-the-art technology, a battery-operated quartz clock drive precisely controls chart speed as a dry stylus scribes the temperature that is sensed by a bimetal element.

DOCUMENTATION. A one-step trip information entry system provides the identical trip data to both shipper and receiver. At the conclusion of a trip, the receiver removes the chart and reads it for any evidence of temperature damage.

PROOF IN LIABILITY DISPUTES. Telatemp charts provide a permanent record of transit conditions. In the event of a dispute over damaged goods the recorder can be returned to Telatemp in its self-contained postage-paid mailer for post-trip certification of calibration accuracy to speed up a claim or as impartial third party documentation for both the shipper and receiver.

Simple recorder start-up: The shipper fills out the trip information form and pulls the START TAB to begin recording. For security, once started the recorder cannot be stopped or restarted.
Secure mounting, shock resistant: The durable ABS case and the cushioned self-adhesive mounting pad virtually eliminate the effects of vibration and shock during over-the-highway transit. The flexible, foam mounting pad firmly grips even irregular surfaces.
	Receiver removes, reviews chart: When shipment arrives, receiver reads the chart for evidence of temperature damage. A "tamperproof" sealed, flange releases the chart..
	Computer tracking of calibration: A bar code ID serial number on the recorder and the chart allows accurate computer tracking of factory calibration and after trip calibration certification. The trip information form, chart and case all bear the same identification number for positive proof in liability disputes.
